Wig Cap

Wig cap liners are used to secure hair snugly to the head and keep it pinned in place. It also provided a non slip surface that helps to keep a wig from sliding off the sleek surface of natural hair. Wig caps are recommended but not necessary in every case. See below for help pinning up natural hair.

Keep the colours of the wig and your own natural hair in mind when choosing a wig cap. If you have light hair and a dark wig then a dark wig cap is recommended.

Styro Head is not included.

For long hair: don't put your hair in a bun or pony tail, this creates a lump in the back of your head. Instead, pull your hair into two pig tails and pin the hair on opposite sides of your head so they form an 'X.' This spreads the hair evenly around your head. Fasten securely with bobby pins. Gel or hairspray can be used around the hairline to prevent short wisps from escaping from under the wig.

For short hair: pin up any longer pieces of hair, for very short hair this is not required. Gel or hairspray can be used around the hairline to prevent short wisps from escaping from under the wig.

Wig caps: pull the wig cap over natural hair once it is pinned or sleeked back.
