Our Bird Creature Workshop was a hit last year so we are bringing it back! A bird is fun because their are lots of creative options AND to make it more challenging we will be creating our birds without using real feathers. We will have a couple of products (that we are keeping under wraps until the night of the workshop) that we will use to create feathers. A prosthetic beak was designed and made just for this workshop. We will complete our feathered friends with a palette of various colours for all tastes, and if you wish glitters and sparkles.
This workshop will include the following procedures:
Application of prosthetics, with blending where necessary.
Creating feather effects using various products.
Discussion of proper hygiene techniques as well as safe application and removal of products will be covered in detail.
Participants will apply all the above procedures to themselves or a model, intermittently, during the demonstration.
Please check on any potential allergy issues (latex for instance) prior to the class.
There will be a Special Mystery Make Up Gift drawn randomly at the end of the workshop for one of the participants!
