Bald Cap w/Burns Makeup

Bringing this workshop back is long overdue!!! Bald caps are a staple for many FX characters and an important skill to develop. It is a long process and so to make it more fun we are going to do some Freddy Krueger burn makeup on the face and forehead afterwards to make it a bit more fun!

This workshop is specifically designed to teach the participant how to apply a bald cap to another person, so a model is required.

It would be best to use a model with short hair if possible. The process is longer and more difficult with long hair. The bald caps will be made of latex so make sure you check your model for any latex allergies.

This workshop will include the following procedures:

Application of a latex bald cap.

Blending the edges with latex or Pros-Aide Cream

Application of RMG to colour the bald cap.

Proper powdering techniques.

Burned flesh application using Ben Nye Gel Effects and colouring with Ben Nye Burn Wheel.

Discussion of proper hygiene techniques as well as safe application and removal of products will be covered in detail.

Participant will apply all the above procedures to their model during the demonstration.

Both you and your model should dress appropriately for the class, it can get messy. 

Model's face should be clean of any makeup prior to start of workshop. 

There will be a Special Mystery Make Up Gift drawn randomly at the end of the workshop for one of the participants!
