Trauma Make Up Workshop-June 6, 2024

This "I Crashed My Bike Workshop"  covers a variety of traumas that can result. These are techniques used to depict injuries in movies and television , first aid training and can also be used to augment zombie and Halloween makeups.

This workshop will include the following procedures:

Creation of a black eye and bruising using cream makeup and utilizing sponges.

Creation of a broken nose using 3D product.

Application of an open gash or wound using a pre-made prosthetic including blending edges and colouring.

Proper powdering techniques.

Blood application creating road rash and cuts using assorted products.

Discussion of proper hygiene techniques as well as safe application and removal of products will be covered in detail.

Participants will apply all the above procedures to a model or themselves, intermittently, during the demonstration.

We will also discuss during the class alternative methods and products.

Please check on any potential allergy issues (latex for instance) prior to the class so an alternative can be provided if necessary.

 There will be a Special Mystery Make Up Gift drawn randomly at the end of the workshop for one of the participants!
